FAQs
Questions parents often ask
Yes. Book a paid taster class (or a few, if your child would like to try different styles). Afterwards we'll send full enrolment details. There's no obligation to join.
Not at all. Our classes welcome children of all abilities, and we'll place your child in the right group for their age and experience.
You pay for the taster class first. If you decide to enrol, the remainder of the term is paid in advance by direct debit, split into three payments. We'll send full fee details with your enrolment information.
Nothing special for the taster. We lend uniform and shoes for one taster class. If you enrol, we'll send details of the right uniform from our online supplier, or our secondhand group.
For weekday Preschool, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes, a parent needs to stay on site, and all 3-year-olds must have a parent on site. On Saturdays our team escorts children between classes and to the toilet. If you use the café area, please make a small purchase.

We mostly follow the ISTD syllabus, with optional exams in Ballet and Tap where appropriate, but exams are never the main focus. Dancers also perform in our shows, including at Worthing's Pavilion Theatre, and in our spring showcase.
Most classes take place at Heene Community Centre in Worthing, which has an onsite café. Contemporary classes for older students run on Mondays at Durrington High School.
